WHAT IS PRAYER? WHY DO WE PRAY?

Prayer is where we bring our petitions and requests, with thanksgiving to a mighty God; we can come boldly as His sons and daughters. Prayer is where we can listen and wait and hear from the Father.

Prayer is where we can share our heart, heaviness and hopes with God.

 

Our prayers do not have to be eloquent or rehearsed, they are between us and Father God. A God who loves us and wants to hear our heart and share His heart with us. Prayer is a conversation between us and God, like a conversation between us and a friend. He eagerly waits for us to share with Him. As we pray God moves. As we engage with God in prayer, He releases the power and wisdom of His Kingdom in us and through us and with us. Anything is possible as we hear the voice of God and grow in relationship with him.
