We are a church that is made up of a wide variety of nationalities, generations and backgrounds currently working across multiple locations in North Birmingham (ELC Kingstanding Main Site, ELC Pheasey Community Hub, and ELC Wyrley Birch Community Hub).
We seek to transform our community with the love and life of God. Helping people in crisis to get back on their feet. Providing people with the essentials at a time when they need them most. Signposting them to further help. Being a listening ear and bringing support. This is what Foodbank is about.
The Foodbank will be open each Thursday from 10.00-12 noon for clients or support workers to collect their food parcel. All referrals* need to be received by Wednesday 4:30pm so that they are ready for collection.
A delivery service is also available for disabled members of the community and those self-isolating or elderly. This will need to be pre-arranged with the team. Due to the current COVID crisis we are only able to cover the following postcode areas as part of our delivery service; B44, B43, B23. All referrals* need to be received by Wednesday 4:30pm for delivery. Parcels will be delivered by a member of the team on Thursdays.
We will be able to provide up to 6 parcels. Please contact us or complete a parcel referral form below to make a parcel request. Each parcel will contain meals for 3 days. After your 6th parcel a member of the team will be in touch to check if you require any further parcels.
If you have any questions please call us on 0121 360 1239.
*If the request meets the criteria for a food parcel you will be contacted with further information.
(Please note: a request does not guarentee a parcel).
