We are a church that is made up from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds currently based at multiple locations in North Birmingham (ELC Kingstanding Main Site, ELC Pheasey Community Hub & ELC Wyrley Birch Community Hub). We seek to transform our community with the love and life of God. We believe that we have been called to multiple locations and encourage each person to be witnesses for God on our frontlines.

The impact God makes through us in the community is a source of great joy and a real privilege. We are so grateful to every person who voluntarily gives of their time, talents and support to make Elim Life Church what it is. Thank you! Yet the vision and the need is great of a growing, thriving community of Jesus followers, empowered by the Spirit, living out the call of God on their lives and seeing transformation in this area- broken lives restored, lost people found, hurting people healed!

We have a great mission to REACH, RAISE and RELEASE. In order to fulfil our own purpose in life and the mission of God here, every person is called to find their place to serve!

Please read on for a list of all the current ministries and teams. Pray for them. Which of these areas could you serve in? We believe that everyone who is committed to being part of this local church has something to offer. Please complete the 'Team Form' below, a ‘Get Connected’ card from the Pod in church or speak to one of the Pastors or Team Leaders for more information. Together with God leading and equipping us we can see our communities transformed with the love and life of God. We run a Safeguarding Policy and DBS checks for those working with children and vulnerable adults.

Every Sunday, a team of dedicated children’s ministry volunteers deliver a

programme that is fun and full of life to help our younger generations discover God for themselves. We use exciting and relevant resources, stories, craft, action praise and worship songs, media, games etc. We need your help to shape and impact these young lives. Can you help?

PLEASE NOTE: all children and youth team helpers are subject to safe recruiting guidance and DBS checks.

Every Sunday we are blessed to have a great team of people leading us in sung worship to encounter God; from displaying song words to singing, from setting up the mics to sounding the cymbal! We need you! Do you have computer skills or a musical talent? Full training for the Media | PA team is given.

We need a team of people willing and able to help set up and pack away Communion on Sundays.

They smile at you, sort somewhere to sit, help you with any information, welcome you on the car park and are often the first point of contact.

A place for families to come together to experience church and God in a fun, relaxed and friendly environment (last Sunday of the month 4pm-6pm).

sheltered housing complexes and nursing homes around North Birmingham. Can you play an instrument, read a poem, share a message, chat to an older person?

Helping people in crisis to get back on their feet is what this ministry is about. Can you chat with someone, make a cuppa, pack a bag or go shopping?
